How to change a price

You change a price yourself in the editor, in the Price list window. It's stored in one place, so once you publish, it changes everywhere it appears on your website: in the price list, the calculator and the fault finder.

In the editor: the Edit price list button, the Price list window with rows of prices, the expanded row Weekday call-out, the Price field changing from 85 to 95, the note Used by: calculator, fault finder, Save, 1 unpublished change on the bar, the new price in the price list, the calculator and the fault finder, and finally Publish.

Steps

  1. Open your website in editing mode. You sign in without a password, using a link from an email.
  2. Above the price list, click the orange Edit price list button. Depending on your website, it may have a different name, for example Edit service prices or Edit labour prices.
  3. In the Price list window, click the row with the price you want to change. It expands.
  4. In the Price field, change the amount. Type just the number, without the currency symbol. Next to it, under Price display, you choose whether the price is shown exactly, as from, as up to or as a surcharge, and the unit if needed, for example per hour.
  5. Below the row, you'll see everything that uses the price, for example Used by: calculator, fault finder. A new amount shows there too.
  6. Click Save. The bar at the top says 1 unpublished change. The public website doesn't change yet.
  7. When everything is as it should be, click Publish on the bar. Only then does the new price appear on the public website.

Tip: You add a new item with the + Add price list item button. If the calculator or another element uses a price, you can remove it once you've chosen a different one there.
